Ice & Fire Festival, Regina SK

Six frozen window panels are mounted into the walls of a simple, roofless snow structure. Hexagonal crystals are suspended on an icy blue fabric background. Natural light filters through the panels by day - ice candle lanterns luminate the structure as darkness falls. Viewers are invited to enter the structure or view the piece from the outside to consider the delicate world of the ice crystal in the context of our global environment.
